Multi-Unit Maintenance Technician – Join Our Dynamic Team!
Are you a skilled problem-solver who thrives on variety and technical challenges? We’re seeking an experienced Multi-Unit Maintenance Technician to support essential operations across multiple restaurant facilities. You’ll tackle everything from plumbing and HVAC to electrical systems and kitchen equipment, helping ensure our locations remain safe, efficient, and high-functioning. Charleston will be your base with travel to our locations in North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities
- Plumbing: Inspect, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems, addressing leaks, pressure issues, and compliance needs.
- Kitchen Equipment: Service and maintain gas, steam, refrigeration, and other kitchen appliances, with regular preventive maintenance.
- HVAC: Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs; must meet EPA 608 compliance.
- Electrical: Identify and fix issues with outlets, breakers, switches, and wiring.
- Handyman Tasks: Light carpentry, painting, and facility upkeep as needed.
- Maintenance Tracking: Use CMMS software (e.g., ResQ) to manage repairs, schedule PMs, and track assets.
- Project Oversight: Lead small renovation or upgrade projects and manage third-party vendors.
- Documentation: Use cloud-based tools and email to report maintenance activity and costs.
- Logistics: Travel between locations using a company truck; transport tools and supplies.
- Tool Management: Bring your own tools or use the company-provided set, with secure storage available.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of maintenance experience across multiple sites.
- Strong background in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment repair.
- EPA 608 HVAC Certification (Universal preferred).
- Proficient with CMMS and general office software.
- General handyman skills (carpentry, painting, finishing).
- Valid driver’s license required.
Preferred Knowledge
- Advanced electrical/circuitry troubleshooting.
- Smart lighting systems (e.g., Lutron Caséta, RadioRA 3).
- Kitchen hood systems, event audio, or basic networking (Wi-Fi, Ethernet).
- Vendor coordination and negotiation.
Bonus Points
- OSHA 10/30 or other safety credentials.
- Experience with CapEx planning or facility strategy.
- Ability to mentor junior techs or support cross-functional training.
